What’s Your Map?

Remember, the default map of the world you’ve drawn for yourself is massively incomplete. I’m telling you, there is so much more out there that is possible for you than you could ever dream of, but to get there you have to keep pushing past the known horizons that you’ve explored up ’til now. This is your comfort zone, and every time you bump up against the edge that little voice is going to pipe back up and try to keep you down.

Each of us are the product of our habits. Your habits are the evidence of the life you have chosen to accept. Your physical health, your financial status, your relationships, your job and everything else in your life is a reflection of what you have chosen — through action or inaction — to accept in your life.

Whether or not you like what you have in your life, it is the result of the many decision you have made.

The decisions we make are heavily influenced by our past experiences. They are influence by the the map of the world we have defined for ourselves. As expressed by Kevin Hart though, this internal map that guides our decision making process is massively incomplete. There are so many possibilities for our future that we currently may not believe are achievable.

To gain confidence in these unseen future possibilities, we must continue to push the boundaries of the mental maps in our heads. We are kept from these dreams by fear. But when we bravely push past that fear we will find the life of our dreams waiting for us.
